What is the significance of applying to the BC PNP EEBC category instead of other BC PNP categories?

BC PNP’s Express Entry BC (EEBC) category is linked to Canada’s infamous Express Entry (EE) System. One must wonder what is so intriguing about the same. The great thing about a PNP-participating province/territory being linked with the EE system is that the applicants who go via the PNP + EE pathway have higher chances of getting an ITA for a PR visa.

Such categories like the BC PNP EEBC category are called the enhanced PNP categories. And for you to apply to the BC PNP EEBC category you must:

  • Firstly, create an online profile in the Express Entry (EE) System.
  • Apply under 1 of the EE sub-streams such as FSW, FST or CEC.
  • Secondly, apply to the BC PNP EEBC category.
  • Also, match the minimum EOI score requirement in BC PNP draw.
  • Finally, after getting a PNP nomination invitation, submit a complete application.

After getting a BC PNP nomination, your CRS score in the EE pool will get extra 600 CRS points. As a result, your chances of getting an Invitation to Apply (ITA) to IRCC for a PR visa go up.

As a result, in today’s time, more applicants are opting for the BC PNP + Express Entry pathway. In short, if you too wish to follow the same then take our Free Assessment.
