SINP Saskatchewan Experience Students Stream
The Students Stream is for applicants who:
- Have graduated from a Canadian educational institution.
- Want to apply to the SINP stream for a nomination, and
- Meet the sub-stream criteria.
Who can apply to the SINP Saskatchewan Experience Students Stream?
Applicants who have graduated from a Saskatchewan educational institution
To apply:
- Have graduated from a Saskatchewan educational institution with a degree, diploma, or certificate.
- Have a minimum of 6 months or 780 hours of paid work experience in Saskatchewan. Also, you can give proof of work experience gained:
- On-campus;
- Off-campus;
- Co-op terms;
- Approved and verifiable graduate fellowship; and
- Work experience accumulated on a Post Graduate Work Permit (PGWP).
- Must have a valid Post Graduation Work Permit issued by IRCC.
- Also, you must have a full-time, valid, permanent, and paid job offer as per your field of study. This job offer must be given to you by a Saskatchewan employer.
- Besides, this job offer must be:
- in a NOC 0, A, or B occupation, or
- For a designated trade, or
- Related to your study program and requires a minimum of post-secondary education.
- Also, to apply as a Food and Beverage Server/Person you must apply under the SINP Hospitality Sector Project sub-stream.
- Further, must have a valid SINP Job Approval Letter.
- Finally, if your job offer is in a NOC C occupation, then you must submit proof of a minimum language skill level of CLB 4 or more.
Canadian Graduates
If you have graduated from an educational institution in Canada, then:
- You must have graduated with a degree, diploma, or certificate from a Canadian educational institution (outside Saskatchewan). Also, your study program must be equivalent to 8 months (1 academic year) of full-time study.
- Must have proof of applying and receiving a valid Post Graduate Work Permit (PGWP) from IRCC.
- Have a minimum of regular 6 months (780 hours) of work experience on your valid PGWP in an occupation that is related to your study program.
- Also, you must have a current full time, regular, paid job offer from an employer in the province. Besides, this job offer must be:
- in a NOC 0, A, or B occupation, or
- For a designated trade, or
- Related to your study program and requires a minimum of post-secondary education.
- Besides, to apply as a Food and Beverage Server/Person, apply under the SINP Hospitality Sector Project sub-stream.
- Further, must have a valid Job Approval Letter.
- Finally, if your job offer is in a NOC C occupation, then you must submit proof of a minimum language skill level of CLB 4 or more.
