Canada Immigration: The only Francophone province of Canada i.e., Quebec held its latest Arrima draw. And selected 1009 applicants who match or exceed a score of 563. However, there were additional criteria to clear the draw. Thus, to qualify applicants needed to have their occupation under 1 of 18 targeted occupations. Also, they must have a job offer from outside the metropolitan community of Montreal.
Besides, the selection of applicants from the Arrima bank happened on September 13, 2022, at 6:30 a.m.
After getting an invitation applicants will have to submit a complete application with supporting documents. Once the application is successfully processed applicants will get a Quebec Selection Certificate (CSQ). This will help them to apply to IRCC for permanent residency in Canada.
Quebec is the largest province of Canada. And has its immigration system separate from the rest of Canada. So, if you wish to apply to settle in Quebec then you must follow its immigration pathways. However, decisions on all visa applications are reserved by IRCC. Quebec can nominate an applicant. But the final decision on visa application will be taken by IRCC.
