Record breaking ITAs issued to Express Entry applicants by 2021 Q2
Canada Immigration: Record breaking ITAs issued to Express Entry applicants by 2021 Q2
As of June 30, 2021, Canada has reached a new milestone as record breaking ITAs issued to Express Entry applicants by 2021 Q2. A total of 44,591 applicants have been selected for permanent residence in Canada through the Express Entry (EE) System. Also, looking at the overall number of Invitations to Apply (ITAs) Canada has issued a total of 88,715 ITAs. Thus, surpassing the 2017 figures.
Looking at such a feat, we can surely say that Canada is committed to inviting and meeting its 2021 Immigration Levels Target of 401,000. So, everyone must submit a Canada PR application as soon as possible. Because the quicker you apply, the quicker you may get an ITA for Canadian permanent residency.
Who gets an ITA in an Express Entry draw?
Any applicant who gets an ITA gets so because of the following reasons:
- The applicant has applied to the EE system.
- Applied to 1 of the EE sub-streams such as:
- Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
- Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
- Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
- Also, meet the Human Capital Factors:
- Language Skills
- Work Experience
- Education Level
- Besides, have a qualifying CRS score in an EE draw.
Moreover, the EE System offers multiple advantages for getting a PR. As when you get a nomination against your EE profile then you get an extra 600 CRS score. The rise in your CRS score increases your chances of getting an ITA for permanent residence in Canada.
The Express Entry System – Best pathway to Canada PR
Record breaking ITAs issued to Express Entry applicants by 2021 Q2. And such a milestone could only be achieved due to the ease of access and fast processing of applications under the EE System. Canada’s Express Entry System since its launch on Jan 01, 2015, has immensely grown in popularity. Because this pathway selects a huge number of applicants. Anyone who wishes for an Express Entry to Canada must apply for PR through this pathway.
To apply, firstly the applicant must check if they qualify to apply to the EE system. However, they must check their eligibility to apply as per the EE sub-stream they wish to apply for such as the FSW, FST, and CEC sub-stream. Secondly, after applying their application enters the EE pool. Here, the applications are evaluated and ranked as per the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).
Canada holds periodic draws under the EE System where it shared the CRS cut-off to qualify to get an ITA. So, to qualify the applicant must either match the CRS cut-off or have a higher CRS rank. If it meets the criteria, then they will get an ITA to apply for Canada PR.
The ease of access, faster processing, and selection of a large number of applicants is what makes the EE System the best pathway to get PR in Canada. Not only this, but the CRS cut-off requirement is also going lower with each draw.
