In the latest PEI PNP draw, the Island saw a rise in the selection of applicants and a fall in the qualifying score. Besides, 165 is the highest number of ITAs issued by PEI up till now.

The details of July 21, 2022, PEI PNP draw are as the following:

• Business Impact Category – 27 ITAs issued. Also, the qualifying score is 60. 
• Express Entry and Labour Impact Category – 138 ITAs issued. However, a qualifying score has not been shared by the province.

Besides, in comparison to the last June 16, 2022, PEI PNP we can see the following positive updates:

• ITAs under the Business Impact Category are up by 18 points. Also, the qualifying score requirement is lower by 5 points.
• For the Express Entry and the Labour Impact Category, the ITAs are up by 11 points.

In case you have an ITA under the PEI PNP Express Entry sub-stream then your chances of getting a PR visa for Canada are higher. This is because to get an ITA under this stream you must:

• Have an active Express Entry (EE) profile.
• Have applied to 1 of the sub-streams such as:
  • Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
  • Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
  • Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
• Also, meet Human Capital Factors:
  • Age
  • Education
  • Work Experience
  • Language Skills
• Besides, have applied to the PEI PNP EE sub-stream.
• Finally, have a qualifying draw score for the same.

Once you get a nomination against your EE profile, you will get an extra 600 CRS score. This raises your chances of getting permanent residency in Canada.
