PEI PNP Express Entry draw invites 97 applicants for nomination

June 01, 2023, sees PEI PNP Express Entry draw invites 97 applicants for nomination. The applicants who qualify in the current draw can now further apply to PEI PNP for a provincial nomination.

As the current draw targets Labour and Express Entry category applicants we do not get a qualifying draw score. Such is the pattern of the PEI PNP draw. However, we do know that applicants who qualify under the Express Entry category meet the conditions such as:

• Firstly, have an active Express Entry profile under 1 of the EE sub-streams:
  • Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
  • Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
  • Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
• Secondly, after applying their EE profile enters the EE pool.
  • Here each profile according to the information they provide gets a CRS rank out of 1200.
  • Higher the rank, the higher the chances of getting an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for a Canada PR Visa.
  • Besides, the profile holder aims to get an ITA.
• After applying to the PEI PNP applicants must match the qualifying draw score.
  • Matching the same will get them invited to apply for a provincial nomination.
• PEI PNP will then assess their profile and give them Provincial Nomination Certificate (PNC).
• Further, upon getting the PNC, EE profile holders will get an addition of 600 CRS points in the EE pool.
• As a result, their chances of getting an ITA for permanent residency in Canada go up.
