PEI PNP draw selects 228 candidates for nomination

Prince Edward Island held it’s second PEI PNP draw on Feb 16, 2023. And selected 228 applicants for nomination. Applicants who have an invitation in this draw have been selected from the PEI PNP sub-streams such as:

• Business Work Permit Entrepreneurs – 6 candidates have an invitation. With a draw cut-off score of 70.
• Labour and Express Entry – 222 candidates have an invitation.

In comparison to the first PEI PNP draw of 2023, we can see the following changes:

• Firstly, for the PEI PNP Business Work Permit Entrepreneurs category we see a fall of 1 point in issuing PNP invitations.
  • But we see a rise of 8 points in the draw cut-off.
• Secondly, for the Labour and Express Entry, we see a rise of 6 points in issuing PNP nominations.
• Besides, we see a rise of 4 points in the overall selection of PEI PNP applicants in the current draw.

PEI PNP draw selects 228 candidates for nomination. And we should expect future draws to continue to show changes in both invitations and cut-off figures.

Moreover, in 2022, the island offered PNP invitations to 1458 applicants. Thus, it would be interesting to see how many people qualify this year for the PEI PNP nomination certificate.
