Ontario selects 106 foreign workers in latest OINP draw

June 17, 2024: Ontario holds a new OINP draw under the Employer Job Offer category Foreign Worker Stream. Also, Ontario selects 106 foreign workers in latest OINP draw. The second OINP EJO Foreign Worker Stream draw of June 2024, sees 18 points fall in the selection of foreign workers.

The details of the OINP EJO Foreign Worker Stream draw on June 17, 2024, are:

  •  Firstly, 106 foreign workers have an invitation at the latest.
  • Secondly, the qualifying EOI score requirement is 39.
  • Also, the current draw selected foreign workers whose job profile comes under:
    • NOC 42202 – Childhood educators and assistants.
  • Besides, applicants who have an invitation created their profiles between June 17, 2023, – June 17, 2024.

Moreover, in comparison to the June 11, 2024, OINP draw we can see the following changes in the current draw:

  • Firstly, we see an 18-point fall in the selection of foreign skilled workers.
  • Secondly, the EOI score requirement is lower by 4 points.

Looking at the second OINP Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream, we see a fall in both invites and EOI scores. However, the fall in the EOI score is great news for foreign workers who wish to move to Ontario and settle in Canada permanently.

Ontario selects foreign workers via the OINP EJO category Foreign Worker Stream who have:

  • A job offer from Ontario.
  • Their job offer falls under NOC 0, 1, 2 or 3 category.

So, if 106 foreign workers have an ITA in the current draw, we can expect this number to go up in upcoming draws. In short, if you wish to settle in Canada via OINP then apply now.
