Ontario Immigration – Ontario PNP Holds Second Skilled Trades draw of 2022. The new OINP Skilled Trades Stream draw selected a total of 818 applicants. Also, to qualify the applicants needed a CRS score between 359 – 600.
Besides, Ontario choose profiles that were submitted between Feb 24, 2021 – Feb 24, 2022.
If you received a Notification of Interest (NOI) in this draw then it is because you:
- Have applied to the Express Entry (EE) System.
- Applied to 1 of the EE sub-streams such as:
- Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
- Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
- Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
- Also, meet Human Capital Factors:
- Age
- Education
- Work Experience
- Language Skills
- Besides, applied to the OINP Express Entry Skilled Trades Stream.
- Have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a skilled trade.
- Must have a trade certificate/license for the skilled trade.
- Have a language skill level of CLB 5 in English/French.
- Are living in Ontario and have valid status in Canada.
- Have enough settlement funds to support yourself and or your family members.
- Finally, agree to settle in Ontario after getting Canada PR.
- Have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a skilled trade.
- Finally, have a CRS score that comes under the range of 359 – 600.
Further, after getting an NOI you can apply for nomination to OINP. After getting a nomination against your EE profile you will get an extra 600 CRS score. This increases your scope of getting an Invitation to Apply for a Permanent Residency in Canada.
Besides, looking at the current draw figures we can see that the CRS score range is between 359 – 600. There is a 241 points gap in the CRS score range. Whereas in the last Jan 27, 2022, OINP Skilled Trades draw the CRS score was 381 – 461. And the CRS gap was 80 points.
