This is also in comparison to the other two OINP sub-streams such as the Human Capital Priorities Stream and the French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream.

The details of Aug 03, 2023, OINP PNP Express Entry Skilled Trades Stream draw are:

• Firstly, 2844 applicants have an NOI.
• Secondly, the qualifying CRS score range is 250-516.
• Also, applicants who have an NOI created their EE profile between August 3, 2022 – August 3, 2023.
• Besides, applicants with job profiles from 1 of the 46 targeted occupations.

Who qualifies for an NOI under the current draw?

As the OINP is linked to the Express Entry (EE) System, applicants apart from matching the draw conditions must match preliminary eligibility criteria such as:

• Firstly, create an EE profile under 1 of the EE sub-streams:
  • Either Federal Skilled Worker Program or
  • Canadian Experience Class
• Secondly, meet Human Capital Factors:
  • Age
  • Education
  • Work Experience
  • Language Skills
• Also, meet OINP EE Skilled Trades stream eligibility criteria,
• Finally, match the respective draw conditions to get an NOI.

After getting an NOI, you will have 45 days to submit a complete and error-free application for provincial nomination. Once you get an Ontario nomination, you will have a higher chance of getting permanent residency in Canada. This is because as you have an active EE profile, upon getting a PNP nomination, you will get extra 600 CRS points. As a result, your overall CRS rank in the EE pool grows higher.
