Ontario releases its latest draw information and OINP selects 726 applicants under its 2 streams on Nov 04. The Express Entry (EE) applicants have been selected from under the 2 OINP streams such as:
- French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream – 210 EE applicants selected with a CRS score between 453 – 470.
- Skilled Trades Stream – 516 EE applicants selected with a CRS score between 436 – 470.
Besides, both the above SINP streams are linked with Canada’s Express Entry System. Applicants who qualified in this draw have received a Notification of Interest (NOI).
210 applicants selected under the French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream
In case you received an NOI under this stream then it means you have:
- Applied under the French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream.
- Meet the eligibility terms for:
- Either the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) or the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
- For FSW meet the following OINP terms:
- Minimum of 1 year full-time or equal part-time work experience gained within 5 years from the date of application.
- Work experience in NOC Skill Level 0, A, or B.
- Work profile must match that shared in the EE profile.
- Meet the 6 selection factors.
- For CEC meet the following OINP terms:
- Minimum of 1 year full-time or equal part-time work experience gained within 3 years from the date of application.
- Work experience in NOC Skill Level 0, A, or B.
- Work profile must be in 1 or more occupations as shared in EE profile.
- Have legal status in Canada.
- Also, for both of the above EE sub-streams you must have:
- License/trade certificate if work experience is in Ontario in a regulated occupation.
- Have a Canadian Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree or equivalent in another country.
- Submit ECA report for the same.
- Further, have CLB 6 English language skill level and CLB 7 in French, and
- Have settlement funds.
- Intend to live in Ontario.
- Finally, have legal status in Canada.
210 applicants selected under the Skilled Trades Stream
In case you received an NOI under this stream then it means you have:
- Applied under the Skilled Trades Stream.
- Minimum of 1 year full-time or equal part-time work experience gained within 2 years from the date of application.
- Work experience in Skilled Trades in Ontario from Minor Group 633 or Major Groups 72, 73 or 82 of NOC.
- Work profile must be in 1 or more occupations as shared in EE profile.
- Have legal status in Canada.
- Have a valid license or trade certificate.
- Are living in Ontario with legal status in Canada.
- Have Language Skill Level (English/French) of CLB 5 or more.
- Also, have settlement funds.
- Finally, intend to live in Ontario.
Besides, if an applicant from any 1 of the 2 SINP stream gets a nomination then they will get an extra 600 CRS score. This increases their chances of getting an ITA to apply for permanent residence in Canada.
