Ontario selected 703 applicants from its Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream. But, to qualify in this draw they needed to:
- Firstly, have an active EE profile.
- Secondly, apply to 1 of the EE sub-streams such as:
- Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSTP)
- Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
- Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
- Also, meet Human Capital Factors such as:
- Age
- Language Skills

- Education Level
- Besides, must have applied to Human Capital Priorities Stream of OINP.
- Further, must have a minimum of 1-year of work experience.
- Finally, have a minimum CRS score between 466 to 475.
Besides, the HCP stream is linked with the EE system. It can also offer easy and quick access to permanent residence in Canada. Because the EE system is one of the most popular Canada immigration pathways. Also, it handles applications from the 3 main economic immigration programs as mentioned above.
Thus, when OINP issues NOI for 703 EE candidates, the profiles will surely get a nomination. So, they will then get an extra 600 CRS score which will increase their chances of getting an invite to apply for a Canada PR.
OINP offers Canada PR to 703 EE applicants
Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) helps Ontario to choose people who can meet its labour market and economic needs. Also, the province holds OINP draws and issues Notification of Interest (NOI) to choose people for permanent residence. As of now, Ontario has issued NOI to the following:
- French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream – 4,833
- Human Capital Priorities Stream – 692
- Skilled Trades Stream – 948
Thus, looking at the above figures we can only expect this number to go up. Also, the last July 29 OINP draw selected 1288 applicants which is the highest as of now this year. Whereas in the Aug 26 draw, OINP issues NOI for 703 EE candidates. Even though the number looks less but it will surely go up in the next draw. So, anyone looking for Canadian permanent residence must apply now.
Looking at other immigration draws of Canada; the country is selecting a large number of people. Also, the CRS score is falling. So, this only hints at positive Canada immigration trends. This is because the country needs skilled workers more than ever. Thus, Canada is taking steps to make the processing of all immigration applications quick and easy. The same is clear from the latest temporary policy update. As per which visitors can get a work permit from within Canada. Further, all this is being done, so that Canada can meet its 2020 immigration target of 341,000.
