Oct 13 BC PNP draw selects 417 applicants

British Columbia recently held its latest BC PNP draw. Oct 13 BC PNP draw selects 417 applicants.

British Columbia dips a bit low as Oct 13 BC PNP draw selects 417 applicants. In comparison to the Sep 29 BC PNP draw, the Oct 13 BC PNP draw selected 33 less applicants. Also, the CRS score requirement barely changed in this draw. Thus, in terms of CRS score it is a good sign for upcoming draws.

Besides to qualify in this draw, applicants needed a CRS score of:

Skill Immigration (S.I)

Skilled Workers – 93

International Graduate – 94

Entry Level and Semi-Skilled – 75

Express Entry BC (EEBC)

Skilled Worker – 92

International Graduate – 93

185 Express Entry BC applicants get an ITA in the Oct 13 BC PNP draw selects 417 applicants

Oct 13 BC PNP draw selects 417 applicants where 185 applicants were selected from the Express Entry BC stream of BC PNP. If you too received an Invitation to Apply (ITA) then it means you:

  • Have an active Express Entry (EE) profile.
  • Have applied under 1 of the EE streams such as:
    • Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
    • Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
    • Canadian Experience Program (CEC)
  • Meet the EE Human Capital Factors such as:
    • Age
    • Language Skills
    • Education Level
    • Work Experience
  • Also, have applied to the EEBC stream of BC PNP.
  • Finally, have a qualifying CRS score.

In case you get a nomination against your EE profile then you can get an Extra 600 CRS score. This increases your chances of getting an ITA to apply for permanent residence in Canada.

Overall, Oct 13 BC PNP selected 33 less applicants but the CRS score remains mostly unchanged. Thus, this is a positive sign for Canada Immigration. So, anyone looking forward to applying to BC PNP must do so now. Because Canada is accepting applications in a large number also the CRS score is only going lower with each draws.
