High remuneration
If you are eligible for points for your skilled employment or job offer, you may also be eligible for20 bonus points if your remuneration for that employment is at or above $48.58 per hour or theequivalent annual salary.
There are two different levels of remuneration used to determine whether your employment isskilled and one remuneration level available for bonus points:
- a) If your occupation is at ANZSCO skill levels 1–3, you must earn at or above $24.29 per hour(or $50,523 per year based on a 40 hour week).
- b) If your occupation is not at ANZSCO skill levels 1–3, you must earn at or above $36.44 per hour(or $75,795 per year based on a 40 hour week).
- c) If you are claiming points for skilled employment and the remuneration for that employment isat or above $48.58 per hour (or $101,046 per year based on a 40 hour week), you may be eligible for 20 bonuspoints.
