New OINP EJO category draw issues 124 PNP invites

June 11, 2024: Ontario after a one-month gap, finally holds the OINP draw for the Employer Job Offer (EJO) category. The new OINP EJO category draw issues 124 PNP invites for the Foreign Skilled Worker Stream. Also, the current draw targets early childhood educators and assistants.

In addition, the current draw is the 8th OINP EJO category Foreign Skilled Worker Stream draw of 2024. Besides, the details of the OINP EJO category draw on June 11, 2024, are:

  • Firstly, 123 applicants have PNP invites in the OINP EJO Foreign Skilled Worker stream draw.
  • Secondly, applicants who have PNP invites created their EOI profiles between June 11, 2023, – June 11, 2024.
  • Also, the EOI score requirement set for this draw is 43.
  • Besides, as shared in the beginning the new OINP EJO category draw targeted early childhood educators and assistants (NOC 42202).

 

Further in comparison to the last OINP EJO category Foreign Skilled Worker Stream draw on April 23, 2024, we can see the following updates in the current draw:

  • Firstly, we see 85 fewer applicants have a PNP invitation.
  • Secondly, the EOI score requirement is positively lower by 10 points.
  • Also, the earlier draw targeted skilled trades occupations.

 

Looking at the above draw details, we can see the province starting to focus on selecting early childhood educators and assistants. This is in addition to the OINP EJO category Foreign Worker Stream draws targeting healthcare, tech, skilled trades and EMPP applicants.
