MPNP draw selects 41 Ukrainians on Jan 30 2023
Manitoba held the first special immigration draw of this year where the MPNP draw selects 41 Ukrainians on Jan 30 2023. The current draw series is a continuation of a special reform by the federal and provincial governments to support the war-stricken Ukraine. And helps them to immigrate to Canada amidst the ongoing Russia and Ukraine war.
As per this measure, Canada holds special draws to select Ukrainians who qualify to settle in the country. As per the current Manitoba MPNP draw 41 applicants have a Letter of Advice to Apply (LAA). To get the same applicants meet the terms such as:
- Firstly, the applicant is a citizen of Ukraine.
- Secondly, has a minimum language skill level of CLB 4.
- Also, has a connection with the province via relatives, close friends, friends like family, community, past work experience or study experience.
Thus, anyone who meets the above terms has been considered for an expression of interest in this draw. So, applicants who have an LAA in this draw can now apply to MPNP for a provincial nomination.
Besides, the current draw is the 10th MPNP Special Immigration draw. Since the beginning of such draws on March 09, 2022. However, if we compare the last Dec 28, 2022, MPNP Special Immigration draw with the current draw then we can see the following updates:
- 5 more LAAs have been issued in this draw.
So, anyone who is looking to settle in Canada must apply for the same now. Because Canada needs foreign skilled workers due to the rise in labour market needs. As a result, it is and will be selecting a higher number of applicants for permanent residency.
