Mar 16 2023 OINP Express Entry draw invites 615 PNP candidates

Ontario recently held its new draw where the Mar 16 2023 OINP Express Entry draw invites 615 PNP candidates. Also, the applicants who have a Notification of Interest (NOI) in this draw have been selected under the OINP French-Speaking Skilled Worker Category.

In addition, Ontario 2 consecutive draws and the details of the same are as the following:

Draw 1

Firstly, 271 applicants have an NOI.
Secondly, the CRS range for this draw is 291-489.
Also, applicants who have an NOI created their EE profiles between March 16, 2022 – March 16, 2023.
Further, the current draw targeted applicants whose job profiles come under Tech, Trade and Other Priority Occupations.

Draw 2

Firstly, 344 applicants have an NOI.
Secondly, the CRS range for this draw is 400-489.
Also, applicants who have an NOI created their EE profiles between March 16, 2022 – March 16, 2023.
Further, the current draw targeted applicants whose job profiles come under Health, Education and Finance sectors.

Moreover, April 16, 2023, OINP Express Entry French-Speaking Skilled Worker Category draw is the first draw under this category in 2023.

Ontario’s OINP program is linked to the Express Entry (EE) System. This means that applicants who have an NOI in this draw meet the following draw conditions:

Have an active EE profile.
Applied to 1 of the EE sub-streams such as:
- Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
- Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
- Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
Also, meet Human Capital Factors:
- Age
- Education
- Work Experience
- Language Skills
Besides, match the applicable CRS range and targeted occupations.

As the OINP Express Entry French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream is linked to the EE system, applicants who get a provincial nomination from Ontario will get an additional 600 CRS points against their EE profile.

As result, this raises their chances of getting an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for a Canada PR visa.
