Sep 28, 2023, MPNP immigration update: Manitoba MPNP under SWO category draw invites 1075 people. The current draw targeted the MPNP Skilled Workers Overseas (SWO) category. The details of the same are:

• Firstly, 1072 applicants have an LAA.
• Secondly, 605 is the qualifying EOI score.

Besides, out of 1095 LAAs, 504 have been issued to applicants because:

• Firstly, they have a profile in the Express Entry (EE) System.
• Secondly, the profile must be under 1 of the EE sub-streams:
  • Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
  • Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
  • Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
• Also, meet Human Capital Factors:
  • Age
  • Education
  • Work Experience
• Besides, have a valid Job Seeker Validation Code.
• Further, applied to the MPNP SWO category.
  • And match the EOI draw score of 605.

The above draw with its higher selection of applicants indicates positive future results. And as we can see out of 1095 LAAs, 504 are received by EE profile holders. It would be wise to say that as per the current draw patterns applying to the MPNP plus Express Entry (EE) pathway is a viable option.

Because these 504 EE profile holders after getting an MPNP nomination, will get an extra 600 CRS score. This increases the overall rank in the CRS pool. Out of which IRCC invites high-ranking applicants to apply for PR. So, with a higher CRS score, these 504 applicants have a big chance of getting an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for a Canada PR visa.
