Aug 11, 2022: Manitoba issues 9 fewer ITAs in new MPNP draw
Manitoba in its latest MPNP draw issued 9 fewer ITA in comparison to the last July 28, 2022, MPNP draw. The current draw selected a total of 345 applicants. Whereas the earlier draw selected a total of 354 applicants.
The details of the current Aug 11, 2022, MPNP draw are as the following:
Skilled Workers in Manitoba (SWM)
- 257 LAAs issued. Also, the qualifying draw score is 623.
International Education Stream (IES)
- 55 LAAs issued.
Skilled Workers Overseas (SWO)
- 33 LAAs were issued directly under the MPNP Strategic Recruitment Initiative.
- Also, the qualifying score is set at 718.
Besides, out of the overall 345 LAAs, 86 have been given to applicants who have an active Express Entry profile and a Job Seeker Validation Code.
In comparison to the last July 28, 2022, MPNP draw we can see the changes such as:
- Skilled Workers in Manitoba (SWM) – 42 fewer applicants have an LAA. But the qualifying draw score is lower by 10.
- International Education Stream (IES) – LAAs are up by 14 points.
- Skilled Workers Overseas (SWO) – LAAs up by 18 points. But the qualifying score is lower by 8 points.
- However, the overall LAAs are less by 9 points. Also, 20 more applicants with an EE profile and a job seeker code have an LAA in the current draw.
Looking at the above figures, we may see a fall of 9 LAAs. But positively, the qualifying draw score is lower for the MPNP sub-streams. This is a positive sign for applicants who wish to get a PNP nomination for permanent residency in Canada.
