Skilled Worker in Manitoba (SWM)

  • Firstly, 205 applicants have an LAA.
  • Secondly, the minimum EOI score requirement is 604.
  • Besides, applicants with job profiles in the following areas have an LAA:
    • Health occupations Administrative and financial support and supply chain logistics occupations
    • Specialized middle management occupations in administrative services, financial and business services, and communication (except broadcasting)
    • Helpers and labourers and other transport drivers, operators and labourers

Skilled Workers Overseas (SWO)

  • Secondly, the minimum EOI score requirement is 774.

Besides, out of 540 LAAs issued, 77 applicants have an LAA because they have an active Express Entry (EE) profile and a Job Seeker Validation Code.

In comparison to the last June 29, 2023, MPNP draw we can see the draw figures change:

  • Overall, 47 fewer applicants have an LAA in the current draw.
  • Firstly, under the SWM occupation-specific category, 110 fewer applicants have an LAA. But the EOI score is up by 9 points.
  • Secondly, under the SWM All Occupation category, 50 more applicants have an LAA. Also, the EOI score is lower by 1 point.
  • Also, under the IES category, 5 fewer applicants have an LAA.
  • Besides, for the SWO category, we see 15 more LAAs issued. But the EOI score is up by 57 points.

Out of 540 LAAs for provincial nomination, 77 EE profile holders get invitations

If you are one of the lucky 77 applicants out of 540 LAA receivers, then it is because you have:

  • Firstly, active EE profile in the Express Entry (EE) System.
  • Secondly, your profile comes under 1 of the EE sub-streams:
    • Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
    • Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
    • Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
  • Also, meet Human Capital Factors:
    • Age
    • Education
    • Work Experience
    • Language Skills
  • Besides, meet the MPNP sub-stream eligibility factors, they are applying to.
  • Finally, match the MPNP draw minimum EOI score requirement.

After getting an LAA you can submit a PNP application for nomination. MPNP will then process your application and if satisfactory give you a Provincial Nomination Certificate (PNC). The moment you get a PNC against your EE profile, your CRS rank will go up by 600 points. As a result, your chances of getting an ITA for submitting a Canada PR visa application will go up.

So, looking at the figures, we can see a rise and fall in draw figures. And can hope for the upcoming MPNP draws to share positive figures.
