Jan 26, 2023: Manitoba issues 336 LAAs in 166th MPNP draw

Latest immigration news from Canada shares that Manitoba issues 336 LAAs in 166th MPNP draw. Also, out of the 336 LAAs, 32 have been issued to applicants with valid Express Entry profiles and a Job Seeker Validation Code.

Besides, the 166th MPNP EOI draw details are as the following:

Skilled Workers in Manitoba (SWM)

  • 253 qualifying applicants have an LAA.
  • Also, the MPNP EOI draw cut-off is 726.

International Education Stream (IES)

  • 60 qualifying applicants have an LAA.

Skilled Workers Overseas (SWO)

  • Also, the draw cut-off is 713.

Besides, applicants who have an Express Entry (EE) profile and have received an LAA are in for a treat. Because after getting an LAA they can apply to MPNP for a provincial nomination certificate. As a result, their chances of getting an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residency in Canada go up.
