Manitoba Holds First PNP Draw of 2023
Jan 12, 2023: Manitoba holds first PNP draw of 2023
Manitoba holds first PNP draw of 2023 and issues 322 LAAs. Besides, out of 322 LAAs, 27 have been issued to applicants who have an active Express Entry (EE) profile and a Job Seeker Validation Code.
The draw details are as the following:
Skilled Worker in Manitoba (SWM)
- 260 applicants have an LAA in this draw.
- Also, the EOI score cut-off is 734.
International Education Stream (IES)
- 42 applicants have an LAA in this draw.
Skilled Workers Overseas (SWO)
- 20 applicants have an LAA in this draw under the MPNP Strategic Recruitment Initiative.
- Also, the EOI score cut-off is 713.
Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program or MPNP helps Manitoba choose people who have the right skills for the right job. Thereby, they can get people who can meet their labour market needs and grow their economy. Such is the aim of all provinces and territories participating in the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). So that they too can benefit from the ongoing positive immigration trends.
Looking at the above details, we can expect the upcoming draws to show minute changes. Thus, we may see a slight rise or fall in LAAs and the draw cut-off. However, such speculation does not concern applicants who wish to live, work and settle in Canada.
Because looking at the first MPNP EOI draw details, we can be positive that future draw figures will favour a higher number of applicants. As a result, if you wish to successfully make a transition to Canada with your family then you must apply for permanent residency in Canada.
