Manitoba holds first occupation specific and regular PNP draw
Manitoba holds first occupation specific and regular PNP draw
Manitoba under MPNP for the first time held occupation specific and regular PNP draw on Feb 23, 2023. This means that applicants under the MPNP Skilled Workers in Manitoba category have an LAA on two bases such as:
- Occupation specific selection
- Applicants whose job profile is in high demand have an LAA in this draw.
- All occupations
- Apart from the in-demand job profiles, applicants from other occupations are selected separately.
In addition, to the above, applicants from its International Education Stream (IES) and Skilled Worker Overseas (SWO) also have an LAA in this draw.
Manitoba holds first occupation specific and regular PNP draw. And the reason for the same is that Manitoba and the rest of Canada are facing an acute shortage of foreign skilled workers. Thus, it is now holding draws targeting specific high-in-demand job profiles.
