Less than 5 applicants get ITA in BC PNP Entrepreneur Immigration draw

July 19, 2022: Less than 5 applicants get ITA in BC PNP Entrepreneur Immigration draw. But the qualifying score for the same is set at 111. This is 1 point higher than the earlier similar BC PNP draw on June 28, 2022.


Looking at the earlier BC PNP EI draws, we can see that the province is selecting less than 5 applicants in each draw. Whereas the qualifying score is going up 1 or 2 points.


For the current draw, applicants have been selected from the BC PNP EI – Regional Pilot Category. This BC PNP category aims to attract foreign entrepreneurs who can set up and actively run a business in one of the participating regional communities. Also, the business must match and cater to the needs of the community.


In case you want to apply for the same then you must match the following program terms such as:

  • Firstly, have relevant work experience as a business owner/manager, and or senior manager within 5 years of applying.
  • Secondly, must have a minimum net worth of $300,000.
  • Also, have post-secondary education or experience as a business owner/manager for a minimum of 36 months within 60 months.
  • Submit a business proposal and get a reference from 1 of the participating communities.
  • Must have a minimum of 51% ownership.
  • Must make a minimum investment of $100,000.
  • Create at least 1 full-time job for a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident.
  • Have a minimum of CLB 4 language skill level.
  • To qualify to register you must have a minimum of 105 points out of 200.


If you meet the above and other terms, then you can qualify to apply. After clearing the BC PNP draw, you can apply to IRCC for Canada PR.
