Latest Quebec Arrima draw invites 322 applicants

Jan 27, 2022: Latest Quebec Arrima draw invites 322 applicants

The French province of Canada holds an immigration draw where the latest Quebec Arrima draw invites 322 applicants. Also, applicants have been selected under the Quebec – Regular Skilled Worker Program (RSWP).

Besides, to qualify in this draw applicants had to meet the following terms:

  • Have an active profile in the Arrima Expression of Interest System.
  • Have a qualifying score of 647 or more.
  • Finally, have a job offer from outside the Montreal metropolitan area.

Besides, in comparison to the 1st Arrima draw of 2022, we can see the following updates in the 2nd draw:

  • No invites issued are lower by 190 points.
  • Also, the qualifying score in this draw is up by 47 points.

Looking at the above figures, we can see a fall in the invites and a rise in the qualifying score. However, looking at the past 2021 Arrima draws we can expect the current figures to be positive in the upcoming draws.

In 2021, 3,564 applicants received an invite from Quebec for permanent selection. And we can expect this figure to rise in 2022.

In addition to the above, the province shared the details of its Immigration levels plan for 2022 in Oct 2021. So, this year we can expect a selection of 49,500 to 52,500 applicants in the upcoming draws. The province through its Arrima portal invites skilled workers who can meet its labour market needs. And can also help in the growth of the economy.

So, looking at the future prospects, why do not you apply for permanent residency in Canada. After getting a Quebec Selection Certificate (CSQ) you can apply to IRCC to submit your permanent residence application.
