Latest BC draw issues 76 PNP invites 2 invites fewer than last draw

May 14, 2024: British Columbia shares details of its latest BC PNP draw. In the new draw, we see PNP invites slip by 2 points. Yes, the latest BC draw issues 76 PNP invites 2 invites fewer than last draw of April 30, 2024.

The details of the current May 14, 2024, BC PNP draw are:

General draw

  • Firstly, 37 applicants have PNP invites in the latest BC draw.
  • Secondly, the EOI score requirement is:
    • Skilled Worker (SW), SW EEBC, International Graduate (IG), IG EEBC: 131 EOI score.
    • Express Entry & Semi-Skilled: 107 EOI score.

 

Targeted draw

  • Firstly, 39 applicants have PNP invites in the new BC draw.
  • Secondly, the occupation-wise breakdown of the same is:
    • 9 childcare sector applicants with a 90 EOI score requirement have PNP invites.
    • 9 construction sector applicants with a 90 EOI score requirement have PNP invites.
    • 17 healthcare sector applicants with a 100 EOI score requirement have PNP invites.
    • Fewer than 5 applicants from the veterinary sector with an EOI score of 80 have PNP invites. 

 

In comparison, to the last April 30, 2024, BC PNP draw, we see the following updates in the current draw:

  • Firstly, the BC PNP General draw issues 10 fewer PNP invites.
  • Secondly, the BC PNP targeted draw issues 8 more PNP invites.
    • Also, the childcare applicants see a 1-point fall in the EOI score requirement.
    • Besides, the healthcare sector applicants see an 8-point rise in the issuing of PNP invites.

 

So, we can see a slow yet positive fall in the EOI score. However, one can not ignore that the current draw issues 2 points fewer invites.

However, this will change in the upcoming BC PNP draws. In short, apply for a PNP nomination for a Canada PR visa in 2024.
