Latest AAIP draw issues 108 more invites on Jan 23 2023
Alberta Immigration: The latest AAIP draw issues 108 more invites on Jan 23 2023. The second AAIP in Jan 2023 selected a total of 154 applicants. But to qualify the applicants needed to have a minimum qualifying draw score of 385.
However, in comparison to the first AAIP 2023 draw on Jan 19, we can see the following updates:
- NOIs are up by 108 points.
- But the draw cut-off is also up by 61 points.
But who has a Notification of Interest (NOI) in this draw?
If you have an NOI in this draw, then it is because:
- Firstly, you have an active profile in the Express Entry (EE) System.
- Secondly, have applied to 1 of the EE sub-streams such as:
- Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
- Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
- Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
- Also, meet Human Capital Factors such as:
- Age
- Education
- Work Experience
- Language Skills
- Besides, have a minimum CRS score of 300 to be eligible for AAIP EE sub-stream(s).
- Finally, have a qualifying draw score of 385 or more.
Further, after getting an NOI you can submit a complete application for PNP nomination to AAIP. Once your profile is successfully processed you will get a Provincial Nomination Certificate. This will help you to further obtain a Canada PR visa.
What are the benefits of applying to AAIP Express Entry linked sub-streams?
As of Jan 23, 2023, AAIP draw issues 154 invitations, now you too can get an NOI for the same. However, the best way to do so is via the AAIP Express Entry pathway. Because the AAIP is linked to Canada’s most famous Express Entry (EE) System. This means that when you get a nomination against your EE profile you will get an extra 600 CRS score. As a result, your chances of getting an Invitation to Apply for permanent residency go up.
This is also one of the prime reasons, why in 2023, everyone is opting for the Express Entry linked PNP sub-streams.
But why will Alberta choose you for a PNP nomination? If your profile helps the province to meet its labour market and economic needs then you are bound to get an invitation from AAIP. However, for the same you must:
- Firstly, have a minimum 300 CRS score to be eligible for EE-linked AAIP sub-stream(s).
- Secondly, your profile must be of economic benefit to the province.
- Also, you must have shown an interest to live, work and settle in Alberta via the EE System.
So, by meeting the above terms, you can increase your chances of getting invited to apply for a PNP nomination. And can further claim an invitation to submit a Canada PR visa application to IRCC.
