It is important to understand the complete process involved when you’re planning to immigrate to a new country or looking to acquire a second passport. The below steps are provided as a basic outline as requirements and immigration procedures will vary from country to country. The investment immigration program you choose to engage in will also determine the steps involved to achieve your immigration solution.
Steps to obtain a Second Passport and Immigrate:
Step 1:
Conduct in-depth research with respect to the country you wish to immigrate to, as well as the immigration program that you want to engage in. To find out about the countries and associated investment immigration programs available from GVI, visit our Compare Programs guide
Step 2:
Once you have decided on which country you wish to immigrate to, please Contact Us to initiate your investment immigration solution. On completing our preliminary application form, you will then be required to compile the associated documentation needed for your second passport and citizenship application.
Step 3:
We will send you a follow-up application based on the preliminary application that we have received from you. From this, we will be able to determine if you are a suitable candidate for your preferred immigration program. If you are a suitable candidate, we will then send you the official application form for the immigration program you have chosen.
Step 4:
You will need to complete the official application form for your selected second passport program, and submit it, along with the required documents, back to us. Once we have received it, the official due diligence will occur, and may take some time to complete.
Step 5:
If you are accepted as a suitable candidate for a second passport and citizenship, you may then be require to travel to the country to sit through an official interview with the relevant regulatory body.
Step 6:
Once you have been for your official interview, and if you are considered a suitable candidate, you will then be granted the second citizenship status that you have applied for, and will then have the right to apply for your second passport.
