Canada holds third draw for French speaking applicants seeking Canada PR visa. Express Entry category based draw invites 1500 Francophones. However, we can see a constant fall in ITAs and a rise and fall in CRS cut-off.

The details of the current Mar 26, 2024, Express Entry French Speaking Category-based draw are:

  • Firstly, 7,000 applicants have an ITA to apply for Canada PR visa.
  • Secondly, the CRS cut-off is set at 388.
  • Also, the tie-breaking rule applicable for this rule is March 10, 2024, at 20:06:26 UTC.

Besides, the applicants who wish to apply must do the following:

  • Firstly, apply under 1 of the EE sub-streams:
    • Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
    • Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
    • Canadian Experience Class
  • Secondly, meet Human Capital Factors:
    • Age
    • Education
    • Work Experience
    • Language Skills
  • Also, to qualify in French speaking category-based EE draw:
    • Have strong French language skill level – NCLC 7 in TECF/TEF.

Besides, after getting an ITA 1500 Francophones will have 60 days to apply for a Canada PR visa. IRCC will then assess their PR visa application. If satisfactory, it will issue a Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR).
