Canada Immigration: CRS cutoff falls by 9 points in the latest PNP Express Entry draw

On Aug 18, 2021, the CRS cutoff falls by 9 points in the latest PNP Express Entry draw. Also, to qualify in this draw applicants needed a minimum CRS score of 751. Besides, the Tie-breaking rule is set for April 13th, 2021, at 16:29:29 UTC.

If you received an ITA in this draw, then it means you have:

  • An active Express Entry (EE) profile.
  • Applied to 1 of the EE sub-streams such as:
    • Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
    • Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
    • Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
  • Also, meet Human Capital Factors:
    • Age
    • Education
    • Language Skills
    • Work Experience
  • Besides, must have a provincial nomination.
  • Finally, have a minimum CRS score of 751.

Applicants who have an ITA in this draw already had a provincial nomination. Thus, the PNP targeted draw selected applicants with the same. As a result, now you can apply to IRCC for a Canada PR.

Further, in comparison to the last Aug 04 PNP Express Entry targeted draw, the current draw selected 59 fewer applicants. But the CRS score is lower by 9 points. So, the fall in CRS score indicates that in the next draw Canada will be issuing a higher number of ITAs. Because the same can be seen from the rise and fall in both ITAs and CRS in the past draws.

As per the current positive Canadian immigration trends, we can hope for an increase in the selection of applicants. So, if you too wish to apply for permanent residence in Canada then apply now.
