• Education – Max 25 points.

• Language Skills – 24 (1st official language) + 4 (2nd official language)
• Arranged Employment – Max 10 points.
• Adaptability – Max 10 points.

Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)

This is the second sub-stream of the EE System. To apply for the same, you must meet the terms such as:

• Must have qualifying language skill level:
  • Listening and Speaking – CLB 5
  • Reading and Writing – CLB 4
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of work experience in a skilled trade within 5 years of applying.
  • Skilled trade refers to those occupations where a skilled worker:
    • Has special degree, diploma and or certificate.
    • And uses its hands (manual labour) to perform its job duties.
•  Your job terms must match that of Canada’s National Occupational Classification (NOC)
• Either has a job offer from Canada for a minimum of 1 year or has a trade certificate from Canada.
• Besides, there is no such education level requirement. But to increase your CRS rank in the EE pool, you are always advised to add the same.

Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

The third sub-stream as the name suggests is for applicants who have experience in Canada. To qualify for this stream, the applicant must meet the following terms:

• For language skill level you must have:
  • NOC O, or A job profiles – CLB 7.
  • NOC B – CLB 5.
• Have a minimum of 1 year of work experience in Canada in the last 3 years.
  • Full-time – Minimum 30 hours per week.
  • Part-time – Minimum 15 hours per week.
• However, the work experience you are showing must be obtained on a temporary visa. And must be legal.
• Also, there is no such education level requirement for the CEC category.
  • You can show the same to raise your overall CRS ranking in the EE pool.

Express Entry pool the battlefield for Permanent Residence

After applying your EE profile enter an Express Entry pool.
