CEC targeted Express Entry draw invites 6000 applicants
Canada Immigration: CEC targeted Express Entry draw invites 6000 applicants
The new CEC targeted Express Entry draw invites 6000 applicants. This is great news for anyone who wishes to apply for Canada PR. Because looking at past draws, April 16, 2021, CEC draw selected 1000 more applicants. Also, the CRS score is low by 15 points. The same can be verified when compared with the past Express Entry CEC draw of April 01, 2021.
Besides, the tie-breaker rule for this draw was set at March 01, 2021, at 19:53:46 UTC.
The Express Entry (EE) System is Canada’s most popular and famous immigration pathway. The reason being that it selects a huge number of applicants in a single draw. So, automatically whoever wishes to be a permanent resident of Canada applied to this system. Also, applying to this system is easy. All 1 has to do is have a minimum of 67 points as per the 6 selection factors to become eligible to apply. After that, they can apply to 1 of the EE sub-streams such as:
- Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
- Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
- Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
When the applicant applies in any 1 of the above-mentioned sub-streams, their profile enters the Express Entry pool. Here the applicant’s profile gets a rank as per the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). So, when Canada holds periodic express entry draws, if the applicant’s rank matches or exceed the draw score/rank then they get an ITA to apply for Canada PR. And that is not it, if an applicant has a provincial nomination against its EE profile, then they get an extra 600 CRS score. This multiplies the applicant’s chances of getting an ITA to apply for permanent residence in Canada.
