Canada’s Express Entry draw selects 522 applicants for Canada PR
On July 22 Canada’s Express Entry draw selects 522 applicants. To qualify the applicants needed a minimum CRS score of 687.
Canada on July 22, 2020, held its latest Express Entry (EE) draw and issued 522 Invitations to Apply (ITA) to applicants with a qualifying CRS score. Also, the tie-breaker rule applied to this draw was November 11, 2019, at 08:51:21 UTC. this means that applicants who submitted their EE profiles on this time and date with the minimum CRS score or more and applicants with a minimum or higher CRS score were selected in this draw.
The Express Entry (EE) system is Canada’s one of the most immigration pathways. It handles applications from 3 main economic streams such as:
- Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
- Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
- Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
If you too received an ITA in this draw, then it means:
- Firstly, you have active EE profile.
- Secondly, have applied to one of the 3 EE streams.
- Also, your profile meets the Human Capital Factors such as:
- Age
- Language Skills
- Education Level
- Work Experience
- Finally, have a minimum CRS score of 687.
Besides, if an applicant receives a nomination against their EE profile then they receive an extra 600 CRS score. This increases their chances of receiving an invitation to apply (ITA) for permanent residence in Canada.
As per the earlier July,08,2020 Express Entry draw the CRS score was higher and the number of applicants selected was low. However, looking at the positive Canada immigration trends the next Express Entry draw will surely select a higher number of applicants with a lower CRS score. As has been the case with earlier draws. Even though the current Express Entry draw selects 522 applicants for Canadian permanent residence.
