Canada holds third Express Entry draw selects highest 5900 STEM applicants

Breaking News: Canada is back on track picking its pace on issuing a higher number of ITAs for Canada PR. The same is true for the third consecutive Express Entry draw of the week. And we are seeing great news as Canada holds third Express Entry draw selects highest 5900 STEM applicants.

As of now IRCC in this week has selected 11,650 applicants to apply for a Canada PR Visa.

The details of the second Express Entry (EE) Category-based STEM draw of 2023 are as follows:

  • Firstly, 5,900 applicants have an ITA for a PR visa.
  • Secondly, the CRS cut-off for this draw is 481.
  • Also, the tie-breaking rule is set as November 25, 2023, at 09:48:36 UTC.

The third Express Entry draw selected 5,900 applicants whose occupations come under Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). This is a huge number looking at the fact that the current draw is the second STEM draw of 2023.

Besides, when we compare the current draw results with the first EE STEM draw, we can see the following changes:

  • Firstly, 5,400 applicants have an ITA in the current draw.
  • Secondly, the CRS cut-off is lower by 5 points.

So, if you are a skilled professional with a job profile in the STEM category then your chances of getting Canada PR are higher. Also, the current draw may be the third Express Entry draw selecting 5900 STEM applicants, but we can expect more.

We can expect future draws for all programs, PNP, Healthcare, Agriculture and Agri Food, Transportation, French Language, and Trade occupations.
