British Columbia Tech draw invites 59 applicants in the latest draw
July 27, 2021: British Columbia Tech draw invites 59 applicants in the latest draw
BC shares the latest draw news where the British Columbia Tech draw invites 59 applicants in the latest draw. Also, as always, the CRS score is set at 80. Applicants in this draw have an ITA under the following BC PNP sub-streams:
Skills Immigration (S.I)
- Skilled Worker
- International Graduate
Express Entry BC (EEBC)
- Skilled Worker
- International Graduate
However, in comparison to the last July 13 BC PNP Tech Draw, the current draw selected 3 more applicants. Whereas the CRS score remains constant at 80.
The BC PNP’s Tech draw is BC’s pathway of getting foreign skilled tech workers. The aim is to grow the province’s tech sector. Applicants who get an Invitation to Apply (ITA) their job occupations fall under 29 in-demand occupations. If you meet this criterion along with BC Tech Pilot’s eligibility criteria, then you have a higher chance of getting an ITA. And once you get an ITA you will get a provincial nomination to apply for Canada PR.
Did you know that if you have an ITA under the BC PNP EEBC sub-stream then you are in for a treat? Because, when an active Express Entry profile will get a nomination then it will automatically get an extra 600 CRS score. To qualify in Canada’s periodic immigration draws, you must have a higher CRS score. Canada selects applicants with higher CRS scores and the scope of contributing to the economic growth of Canada.
Once you get an ITA to apply for permanent residency in Canada, then apply within 60 days of getting an ITA. If you get late then your ITA will expire. And you will lose your chance of getting a Canada PR.
