British Columbia invites upto 240 Candidates for PNP nomination
Jan 31, 2023: British Columbia invites upto 240 Candidates for PNP nomination in its 2-part draw series. The selected applicants can now further apply to BC for provincial nomination.
The details of the same are as the following:
Draw 1 – General draw (including tech applicants)
- 207 applicants have an ITA in this draw.
- The draw cut-off for Skilled Worker, EEBC Skilled Worker, International Graduate and EEBC International Graduate is set at 102.
- Besides, the draw cut-off for Entry Level and Semi-Skilled Category is set at 82.
Draw 2 – Targeted draw
Skilled Worker, International Graduate with EEBC option
- 18 applicants have an ITA in this draw.
- Also, applicants whose job profile comes under Early childhood educators and assistants (NOC 42202) an invite in this draw.
Skilled Worker, International Graduate (includes EEBC option)
- 18 applicants have an ITA in this draw.
- Also, applicants whose job profile comes under the Healthcare sector have an invite in this draw.
International Graduate, Skilled Worker including EEBC option
- Less than 5 applicants have an ITA in this draw.
- Also, applicants whose job profile comes under the Other priority occupations (NOCs 31103, 32104) have an invite in this draw.
In comparison, to the last Jan 24, 2023, BC PNP draw we can see the following updates:
- Firstly, the current draw selected 21 more applicants in draw 1.
- Secondly, in draw 2, the current draw selected 13 fewer applicants.
- Also, overall the current draw selected 9 more applicants.
Besides, looking at the current draw patterns we should see a rise in the selection of applicants. Thus, if anyone wishes to apply via the BC PNP + PR pathway then they must do so now.
