British Columbia invites 137 BC PNP tech applicants for nomination in its regular 2-part draw series. The first part focuses on the selection of applicants with job profiles in the tech sector. Whereas the second part focuses on the selection of targeted occupation sectors. Besides, the details of July 05, 2023, BC PNP Tech + Targeted draw are:

Draw 1

  • Firstly, 97 applicants have an ITA in this draw.
  • Secondly, 88 is the qualifying draw score.

Draw 2

  • Firstly, 23 applicants have an ITA.
    • Qualifying applicants’ job profiles come under Childcare: Early childhood educators and assistants (NOC 42202).
  • Secondly, 17 applicants have an ITA.
    • Qualifying applicants’ job profiles come under the Healthcare sector.
  • Besides, under draw 2 the qualifying draw score is 60.

Moreover, for both draw 1 and draw 2 of July 05, 2023, BC PNP draw, people have been selected under the Skilled Worker, International Graduate (including EEBC) category.

In comparison to the last similar June 20, 2023, BC PNP draw, we can see the following updates:

  • Firstly, overall, the current draw issued 18 fewer ITAs.
  • Secondly, we can see the following changes:
    • 10 points fall in the selection of tech profiles. But the draw score is also lower by 2 points.
    • 4 more profiles have ITAs from the Childcare sector.
    • 2 fewer profiles have ITAs from the healthcare sector.
    • No applicants were selected from BC PNP other priority occupations.

But overall, we can see a fall in the issuing of ITAs under BC PNP Tech + Targeted draws. However, such changes are subject to change with upcoming draws. In short, it is advisable to apply via the Express Entry + BC PNP pathway for higher chances of getting an ITA for Canada PR visa.
