British Columbia holds new BC PNP draw issues 66 invites

June 11, 2024: BC PNP is showing a decline in the selection of applicants. In the last May 28, 2024, BC PNP draw, the province selected up to 70 applicants. Now, British Columbia holds new BC PNP draw issues 66 invites.

We can see a 4-point fall in the PNP invites. However, 66 PNP invites have been issued under the following draw types and categories:

General draw

  • Firstly, 39 applicants have PNP invites in the new BC PNP draw.
  • Secondly, the following is the qualifying draw score for BC PNP categories:
    • Skilled Workers (SW), SW EEBC, International Graduate (IG), IG EEBC – 131.
    • Entry Level & Semi-Skilled – 110.

 

Targeted draw

  • Firstly, 6 applicants from the childcare sector have PNP invites.
    • The qualifying draw score is 93.
  • Secondly, 9 construction sector applicants have PNP invites.
    • The qualifying draw score is 93.
  • Also, 12 healthcare sector applicants have PNP invites.
    • 102 is the qualifying draw score.

 

As the new BC PNP draw issues 66 invites we see a 4-point fall in invites. In comparison to the BC PNP draw on May 28, 2024, we can see the following changes:

  • Firstly, the BC general draw issues 4 more PNP invites in the current draw.
  • Secondly, the targeted draw sees the following changes:
    • 5 fewer childcare sector applicants have PNP invites.
    • 2 fewer construction sector applicants have PNP invites.
    • 3 more healthcare sector applicants have PNP invites.
    • Also, the current draw did not target applicants from the veterinary sector.
