British Columbia BC issues 271 ITA for nomination

On June 02 BC issues 271 ITA for nomination to applicants under the Skilled Immigration and Express Entry and Entrepreneur Category.

British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) selected 271 applicants for nomination. The selected applicants can now apply for permanent residence in Canada.

Also, BC issues 271 ITA for nomination to applicants who have the skills and qualification to grow and develop its economy.

Who received an Invitation to Apply (ITA) under the BC PNP draw?

In the latest draw, BC issues 271 ITA for nomination to applicants who meet the program terms and have the qualifying CRS score. If you received an ITA in this draw, then it means you have applied and have a qualifying CRS score under one of the following categories:

Skills Immigration (SI)

  • Skilled Worker – Minimum CRS score requirement of 100
  • International Worker – Minimum CRS score requirement of 100
  • Entry Level and Skilled Level – Minimum CRS score requirement of 81

Express Entry BC (EEBC)

  • Skilled Worker – Minimum CRS score requirement of 100
  • International Graduate – Minimum CRS score requirement of 100

Entrepreneur Immigration

  • Base Category – Minimum CRS score requirement of 181
  • Regional Pilot – Minimum CRS score requirement of 118

Besides BC PNP invited 241 applicants from the Skills Immigration and Express Entry BC category. Whereas BC PNP selected 121 applicants from Entrepreneur Immigration – Base Category and 118 applicants from Entrepreneur Immigration – Regional Pilot.

BC PNP EEBC stream selects applicants with a CRS score of 100

BC PNP is British Columbia’s immigration program. It helps the province in identifying and selecting skilled workers and entrepreneurs. This helps BC to meet its labour market needs and grow its economy. BC issues 271 ITA for nomination out of which it selected a total of 241 profiles from the Skilled Worker and EEBC category.

Further, BC PNP is linked to the Express Entry (EE) system. As a result, applicants applying under the EEBC stream of the BC PNP must have an active EE profile under the EE system. Thus, it means that the applicant meets the EE Human Capital Factors such as age, language skills, education level, and work experience. However, if an applicant receives a nomination against their EE profile then they will receive an extra 600 CRS score. So, their chances of receiving an ITA to apply for a Canada PR increases.

Undoubtedly, the latest draw has invited a higher number of applicants as compared to BC PNP May 26 draw inviting 133 applicants.
