The BC Provincial Nominee Program Tech draw invites 140 applicants, according to new British Columbia draw details. In addition, applicants needed a minimum CRS score of 85 to qualify.
Besides, the applicants have been selected from the following BC PNP categories:
Skills Immigration (SI)
- Skilled Worker
- International Graduate
Express Entry BC (EEBC)
- Skilled Worker
- International Graduate
Looking at the above figures, we can see that BC issued 14 more ITAs in comparison to the last Feb 01, 2022 BC PNP Tech draw. The CRS score on the other hand is up by 5 points.
The current draw hints at the upcoming positive draw results. Because the graph of ITAs issued is going up; from 102 ITAs on Jan 04, 2022 BC PNP Tech draw to 140 ITAs issued in the current draw.
Applicants who have qualified in this draw, now have the chance to apply to BC for provincial nomination. After getting a nomination certificate they can use the same to support their Canada PR application.
Besides, applicants who have received an ITA under the BC PNP EEBC sub-stream have a very good chance at scoring an ITA for permanent residency in Canada. Because once they get a nomination against their Express Entry profile they will get an extra 600 CRS score.
This will increase their overall CRS score and will raise their chance of getting an ITA.
British Columbia through its BC PNP Tech Pilot targets applicants whose job profile comes under 1 of the 29 in-demand tech occupations. The program aims to select highly skilled tech workers who can bring innovation, and growth to the BC Tech sector. And can also add to the overall growth of BC’s economy.
