BC PNP Tech Pilot selects 34 applicants

British Columbia on July 28, 2020, under its BC PNP Tech Pilot selects 34 applicants. To qualify applicants needed a minimum CRS score of 80.

British Columbia recently held its 3rd Tech Pilot of July. In this draw, BC PNP issued 34 Invitations to Apply (ITA) to applicants from its Skills Immigration (SI) and Express Entry BC (EEBC) stream. Also, to qualify the applicants needed a CRS score of:

Skills Immigration

  • Skilled Worker – 80
  • International Graduate – 80

Express Entry BC

  • Skilled Worker – 80
  • International Graduate – 80

Besides the 3rd Tech Pilot of July selected 28 applicants lesser than the last July 21, 2020 Tech Pilot draw. However, the CRS score requirement in this month’s July 28 Tech Pilot drawJuly 21 Tech Pilot draw, and July 07 Tech Pilot draw was 80. To qualify, the applicants needed an eligible job offer from 29 in-demand occupations in the tech sector.

BC PNP Tech Pilot selects 34 applicants, if you too received an invite under the EEBC stream then it means:

  • You have a job offer in one of the 29 in-demand occupations in B.C.
  • Have applied to BC PNP under the EEBC stream.
  • Meet the terms of the EEBC stream.
  • Also, have an active Express Entry (EE) profile.
  • Meet the EE Human Capital Factors such as:
    • Age
    • Language Skills
    • Education Level
    • Work Experience
  • Finally, have a minimum CRS score of 80.

If you get a nomination against your EE profile then, you will receive an extra 600 CRS score. This increases the chances of receiving an ITA to apply for permanent residence in Canada.

The Tech Pilot draws have shown signs of positive Canada immigration trends as because the CRS score is consistently at 80. Even though in the 3 draws the selection of applicants have been varying. But looking at the current trends, the selection of applicants will only increase.
