BC PNP Tech Pilot selected 133 applicants for nomination
On May 26 BC PNP Tech Pilot selected 133 applicants to apply for Canada PR.
British Columbia Provincial Nomine Program (BC PNP) held its latest Tech Pilot draw on May 26. BC PNP Tech Pilot draw selected 133 applicants to apply for a provincial nomination for permanent residence in Canada. British Columbia has issued 133 Invitation to Apply (ITA) to applicants from 29 in-demand tech industry occupations. Also, the draw selected applicants from BC PNP’s Express Entry British Columbia (EEBC) and Skilled Immigration (SI).
Further BC PNP Tech Pilot selected 133 applicants who had the qualifying CRS score.
To qualify in this draw you must have a CRS score of:
BC PNP stream | Substream | CRS score required |
Skilled Immigration (SI) | SI – Skilled Worker | 80 |
SI – International Graduate | 80
SI – Entry Level and Semi-Skilled | 80
Express Entry British Columbia (EEBC) | Substream | CRS score required |
EEBC – Skilled Worker | 80
EEBC – International Graduate | 80 |
Besides, in this draw, the CRS score for SI stream and EEBC stream was 80. Also, this CRS score is lower than the last Tech Pilot draw on May 19, 2020.
Further, if you received an ITA under the EEBC category of BCPNP then it means:
- Firstly, you have an active EE profile
- Secondly, you meet the EE system’s Human Capital Factors such as:
- Age
- Language Skills
- Education Level
- Work Experience
- Also, you have the CRS score as per one of the EEBC substreams
In case you receive a nomination against your EE profile then you will receive an extra 600 CRS score. This increases your chance of receiving an ITA in EE draws to apply for permanent residence in Canada.
Overall the applicants have 30 days to submit a complete application to BC PNP from the date of receiving an invite.
