BC issues 82 ITAs in latest Tech Pilot draw
On May 18, 2021, BC issues 82 ITAs in latest Tech Pilot draw.
British Columbia held its latest draw where BC issues 82 ITAs in latest Tech Pilot draw. Also, to qualify the applicants needed a minimum CRS score of 80. Applicants who received an ITA in this draw have been selected from Skills Immigration and Express Entry BC sub-streams.
The details of the same are:
Skills Immigration (S.I)
- Skilled Worker – 80 CRS score requirement.
- International Graduate – 80 CRS score requirement.
Express Entry BC (EEBC)
- Skilled Worker – 80 CRS score requirement.
- International Graduate – 80 CRS score requirement.
May 12, 2021 BC PNP selected 82 applicants. But in comparison to May 04, 2021 BC PNP Tech Pilot draw, the current draw selected 2 fewer applicants. However, if you received an ITA under the EEBC draw, then you get double benefits towards getting a Canada PR. Because you can only get an ITA under EEBC stream if you have:
- A valid Express Entry profile.
- Have applied under 1 of the EE sub-streams such as:
- Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
- Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
- Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
- Also, meet the Human Capital Factors:
- Age
- Work Experience
- Language Skills
- Education Level
- Besides, have applied to the EEBC stream of BC PNP.
- Further, have a valid job offer in 1 of the 29 eligible tech occupations.
- Finally, have a CRS score of 80.
Once you get a nomination from BC you will get 600 extra CRS points against your EE profile. This will help you in getting an ITA in periodic Canadian immigration draws. After getting an ITA you can apply to IRCC for permanent residence in Canada. But do it before the 90 days validity of your ITA expires.
