British Columbia recently shared the details of its latest BC PNP draw. Where the BC Immigration PNP draw invites 170 applicants for nomination.
The 2-part series draws selected a total of 170 applicants. And the CRS score requirement for the same is the following:
Draw 1 – BC PNP issues 126 ITAs.
- Skilled Worker, International Graduate (including EEBC sub-stream) – CRS score is 85.
- Also, applicants from the tech sector have been targeted in this draw.
Draw 2 – BC PNP issues up to 44 ITAs.
- Skilled Worker, International Graduate (including EEBC sub-stream) – 20 applicants were selected, and the CRS score is set at 62.
- Also, the draw targeted applicants whose profile comes under NOC 4214 (Early Childhood Educators and Assistants).
- Skilled Worker, International Graduate and Entry Level and Semi-Skilled sub-streams (including EEBC sub-stream) – 20 applicants were selected, and the CRS score is set at 62.
- Also, the draw targeted applicants from the healthcare sector.
- Entry Level and Semi-Skilled sub-stream – Less than 5 applicants were selected, and the CRS score is set at 62.
- Also, the draw targeted applicants whose profile comes under NOC 3413 (Healthcare Assistants).
BC PNP figures going up in comparison to earlier draw figures
In comparison to the last similar Apr 26, 2022 BC PNP draw, we can see the following updates:
Draw 1
- Overall ITAs are up by 8 points. Whereas there is no change in the CRS score.
Draw 2
- Overall ITAs are up by 8 points.
- Skilled Worker, International Graduate (including EEBC sub-stream) – ITAs lower by 3 points. But CRS is lower by 3 points.
- Skilled Worker, International Graduate and Entry Level and Semi-Skilled sub-streams (including EEBC sub-stream) – ITAs are up by 12 points. Whereas CRS is lower by 3 points.
- Less than 5 ITAs were issued. But the earlier draw issued 5 ITAs. However, in the current draw, the CRS is lower by 3 points.
Besides, in the May 10, 2022 BC PNP draw, the overall ITAs are up by 22 points.
BC PNP EEBC sub-stream beneficial to Express Entry (EE) profile holders
If you have an ITA under the BC PNP EEBC sub-stream and hold an EE profile, then you are lucky. Because to get an ITA under the BC PNP EEBC sub-stream you must meet the following terms:
- Your profile must be in the Express Entry (EE) pool.
- Applied to 1 of the EE sub-streams such as:
- Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
- Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
- Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
- Also, meet Human Capital Factors:
- Age
- Education
- Work Experience
- Language Skills
- Besides, applied to the BC PNP EEBC sub-stream.
- Finally, have a CRS qualifying score for the same.
When you qualify in the draw, you will get an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for a nomination. After the successful processing of your BC PNP application, you will get a nomination certificate. And the moment you get this, you will get an extra 600 CRS score in the EE pool against your EE profile.
