BC extends Tech Pilot till June 2021

On June 04, British Columbia (BC) announced that it is extending BC PNP’s Tech Pilot stream until June 2021. 

BC extends Tech Pilot till June 2021; this news comes as a positive sign for applicants seeking admission with a job offer in one of the 29 in-demand tech occupations. To qualify under this stream, you must have:

• A full-time, permanent job offer in one of the 29 in-demand tech occupations
• This job offer must be for a minimum of 1 year, and
• At the time of application, at least 120 days remaining.

Besides, BC PNP Tech Pilot is a 2-year pilot program that offers permanent residence in Canada. BC selects skilled workers every week in its Tech Pilot draws.  This helps the province to select and retain skilled workers who have the skills to grow the economy. Also, it helps fulfil the ever-increasing labour market needs in the tech sector.

BC holds weekly draws to select applicants who meet the BC PNP terms and have the minimum qualifying CRS score. If selected, you will receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for nomination for permanent residence in Canada. After that, you must submit a complete application to BC PNP within 30 days of receiving an ITA.
