 To apply for a Canada PR visa via Express Entry (EE) CEC sub-stream, you must meet the following terms:

  • Have a minimum language skill level as per your job occupation:
    • Canadian Language Benchmark 7 for NOC 0 or A jobs or
    • Canadian Language Benchmark 5 for NOC B jobs
  • Have 1 year of full-time or part-time work experience within 3 years in Canada.
  • Education Level – Canada does not require the education level of the applicant. However, to get a higher CRS score in the pool, the applicant can choose to include this information.
    • To do so either share Canadian educational credentials or submit an ECA report.
    • Be admissible to Canada.
  • Agree to live anywhere in Canada except Quebec.
    • In case, you are a provincial nominee then you must live in the province or territory from where you have a nomination.

So, if you meet the above terms, then you are eligible to apply through the FSW CEC sub-stream. Once your profile reaches the EE pool, you will get a CRS rank/score as per the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). Canada holds periodic draws and issues ITAs to the qualifying applicants.
