Alberta invites 44 AAIP agriculture applicants for PNP nomination

Jan 11, 2024: Alberta holds second AAIP draw targeting the agriculture sector. Alberta invites 44 AAIP agriculture applicants for PNP nomination. The details of the same are as the following:

  • Firstly, 44 applicants have an invitation for PNP nomination.
  • Secondly, to qualify the applicants needed to have a CRS score range of 300-500.
  • Also, the following terms apply to the 44 AAIP agriculture applicants:
    • Applicants’s work profile must come under agriculture.
    • Must have a job offer from Alberta.
    • Have a CRS score between 300-500.
  • Besides, the CRS cut-off set for this draw is set at 312.

In comparison to the last similar draw of Oct 03, 2023, we see the following updates:

  • Firstly, the current draw issued 11 more invites.
  • Secondly, the CRS cut-off is up by 1 point.
  • Also, there is no change in the CRS score range requirement.
    • It is still in between 300-500.

Looking at the above draw details we can see that demand for agriculture profiles is a bit high. However, one can not ascertain if these figures will continue to go up. As other sectors such as healthcare, construction, tech, tourism and hospitality, are in high demand.

So, we should expect a positive rise in the selection of targeted profiles. If your job profile falls under the in-demand category, then you must apply for permanent residency via the PNP route
