Alberta invites 22 healthcare applicants for AAIP PNP nomination

Oct 24, 2023: Alberta invites 22 healthcare applicants for AAIP PNP nomination. The latest Alberta PNP draw under AAIP selected 22 applicants. However, the applicants who have an invitation to apply for provincial nomination meet the following draw criteria:

  • Firstly, the 22 invite recipients have an active Express Entry (EE) profile.
  • To do so they applied under 1 of the EE System’s sub-streams such as:
    • Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
    • Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
    • Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
  • Also, meet Human Capital Factors:
    • Age
    • Education
    • Work Experience
    • Language Skills
  • Secondly, the applicants have been selected under the dedicated healthcare pathway.
    • Also, qualifying applicants have a job offer from Alberta.
    • And their CRS score matches or exceeds 300.
  • Finally, have a CRS score of 326 or more to get a Notification of Interest (NOI) to apply for a PNP nomination.

Besides, looking at the last similar draw of the Oct 10, 2023, AAIP draw we can see the following updates:

  • Firstly, NOIs are higher by 9 points.
  • Secondly, the CRS score requirement for the current draw is lower by 1 point.
  • However, the rest of the draw conditions remain the same.

In addition, we must notice a rise in the selection of applicants from the healthcare sector. Such a change is not unusual because of the ongoing Canadian draw patterns. Whether it is the Express Entry (EE) category-based draws or other provincial draws, we see a rise in the selection of applicants from the healthcare sector.
