Alberta holds first 2023 PNP draw issues 46 NOIs

Jan 19, 2023: Alberta holds first 2023 PNP draw and issues 46 NOIs. Also, the applicants who have an invitation in this draw needed a minimum draw score of 324. The current draw is the first AAIP draw of 2023. But in comparison to the last Dec 08, 2022, AAIP draw we can see the following updates:

  • NOIs are lower by 83 points.
  • Also, the draw cut-off is up by 24 points.

However, as the current draw is the first AAIP draw of 2023, it would be too soon to predict future draw outcomes. But we must be prepared for a rise in both selection of applicants and the draw cut-off. As is evident from past draw history. Because even though the cut-off fluctuates between 300-350, we do occasionally see the cut-off figure go as high as 473. A similar incident was seen in the AAIP July 29, 2022 draw.

In addition, one more thing that we can eye on is the number of draws Alberta will hold in 2023. Because for 2022, we saw the province hold a total of 10 draws. Also, the provinces selected a total of 2449 applicants for provincial nomination.

Alberta offers provincial nomination under its Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP). It helps the province select the right person, with the right skills, for the right job. And in 2023, Canada has a huge demand for skilled workers. This is also because of the 1.2 million job vacancies.

As a result, the number of Canadian jobs is higher in comparison to the availability of people who can fill up these empty job positions. So, make the most of the current moment and apply to get a nomination under AAIP
