How to easily get a PR visa from Africa for Canada in 2024?

Planning to move from Africa to Canada is now easy when you apply for a Canada PR visa. There are up to 180+ Canada PR pathways. But to keep things simple and easy, here are

1. Express Entry

The Express Entry (EE) System is the most famous pathway for Canada PR. Because via this pathway you can immigrate from Africa to Canada in 6 to 12 months.

To apply, be eligible for 1 of its sub-streams such as FSW, FST or CEC. Create an online EE profile. Your profile will get a CRS rank as it enters the EE pool. Now, IRCC holds 6 types of periodic EE draws.

Your profile must match the CRS cut-off in the periodic EE draws. Once you get an ITA you can submit a complete and error-free PR visa application to IRCC.

2. Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)

PNP hosts 9 provinces (except Quebec) and 2 territories (except Nunavut). It allows participating provinces and territories to select skilled/semi-skilled workers, students, and entrepreneurs as per their economic and labour market needs.

However, here are 2 PNP stream types, you can use to move from Africa to Canada and get Canada PR in 2024.

  1. Base PNPs – They are non EE-linked streams.
  2. Enhanced PNPs – They are linked to the EE system. Also, helps in getting an extra 600 CRS score in the EE pool. As a result, chances of getting an ITA for Canada PR go up.

3. Quebec RSWP

Quebec, the francophone province of Canada has its own immigration system. And does not follow the regular immigration system. So, as a French language speaker, you can apply to its Regular Skilled Worker Program (RSWP)

To apply you can use the Arrima portal. Quebec holds periodic Arrima draws and selects applicants for permanent selection. Also, applicants who get permanent selection get a Quebec Selection Certificate. This helps them to further apply to IRCC for permanent residency in Canada.
